Todd graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1994 Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry. He attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and graduated in 1998. Until 2001, he trained in general internal medicine at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He then stayed for one year there as chief medical resident and subsequently studied Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he has written papers and abstracts on asthma and contact dermatitis. He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology.
